Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Room Service Server to join our team!

Nestled on 40 secluded acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux association – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop. The property features 33 guest rooms in the Inn’s historic mansion or perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a catering venue, and two destination restaurants. About the Position: In the Room Service Server role, you will be preparing orders, setting trays, and delivering items to guests in our 33-room Inn. The position pays $18/hour plus tips on deliveries. There will be a consistent weekly set schedule. Looking to hire part-time or full-time.

About You: You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.

Essential Duties:

• Set trays according to type of food ordered
• Accurately records, pre checks, and pickups or all food and beverage orders
• Serve guests in a prompt courteous manner
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel experience is preferred
• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Reliability, attention to detail, professionalism
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
