The Facilities & Maintenance department at Newport Restaurant Group is looking for a Weekend Journeyperson Class I HVAC Technician to join the team.
About the Position: As a Journeyperson Class I HVAC Technician, you will maintain, repair, and operate heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across our restaurant locations.
This position works a full time schedule that includes a mandatory Saturday–Sunday with weekday schedule flexibility. Standard hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering a consistent early-day routine while providing coverage during our busiest weekend service periods.
About You: You are independent and able to prioritize tasks. You work well under pressure and have a high degree of attention to detail.
Essential Duties:
- Installation and service of HVAC/R equipment
- Monitor and troubleshoot controls via the Building Management System
- Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations related to equipment condition in order to prevent and/or minimize equipment failures and downtime
- Completes work orders in a timely manner whilst maintaining accurate and detailed service records
- Responds to emergency work orders
- Performs other duties as assigned
