Castle Hill Inn is looking for Bussers to join our team. We are seeking energetic and diligent restaurant support staff for the upcoming 2021 season. We are building on a core team to expand and be ready for what we expect to be an extremely busy and lucrative season.
We operate two restaurants at Castle Hill:
THE DINING ROOM
Our fine dining restaurant, serving a fixed price menu, with an extensive wine list and refined level of service. Open for dinner hours only, requires extensive prior experience.
Primarily outdoors, The Lawn is open all day serving an large casual menu in a beautiful luxury setting. This restaurant is extremely busy and requires highly energetic individuals, adapting to the large open space and weather!
Bussers support our service team by ensuring the restaurant is perfectly set up for success and is clean and sanitary. This includes setting tables, polishing glassware and silverware, etc. During service, bussers assist by serving bread, water, and resetting tables throughout. At the end of shift, bussers help get the restaurant ready for the next day’s guests.
Bussers are paid an hourly wage, plus a share of tips generated by the servers. Tips are shared amongst the peers in that work group over the course of the day. Training days are paid at minimum wage. All staff are required to work a variety of positions, but will specialize in their primary role to be most efficient.
