Newport Restaurant Group is looking for an Event Manager to join the team.
About the Position: In the Event Manager role, you will coordinate with internal teams, including culinary, service, and operations, to deliver events that reflect our brand’s high standards for service, cuisine, and atmosphere. A strong candidate will have a proven track record in event planning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Essential Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact after an event is confirmed
- Conduct site tours and client consultations
- Prepare and present event proposals and banquet event orders (BEOs)
- Maintain relationships with repeat clients
- Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure event details are executed to client expectations
- Oversee all event details from booking through execution including menu selection, floor plans, AV, décor, and timeline
- Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and service teams to ensure event requirements are met
- Assist with post-event follow-up including feedback and billing
- Attends industry meetings and events which may take place outside of regular business hours
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of event coordination experience in the food-beverage-hospitality industry or a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with high-end weddings and customized events required
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong administrative skills, organized and detail oriented and prepared to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume, aggressive sales atmosphere
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation $62,000-$65,000/Year!
