Server candidates should have at least two years of restaurant experience, with luxury table service history preferred. Must have a strong base of food and beverage knowledge to serve well-travelled guests. This position is paid below minimum wage, with daily tips distributed in cash. Servers work as a team with their bussers, food runners, and support staff to provide warm and gracious service, and share with those team members in their success. Shift start times range from 9:30am to 3:00pm, and are usually between 8 and 10 hours in length. Hired servers can expect between 3-5 days of training before working in their own section. Section size, location, and shift selection depend on business needs, weather, and quality of service. Working breakfast shifts may be required as well. Alcohol safety certification is required.
