We are looking for a passionate, talented and motivated Pastry Chef, committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience to their guests. The right candidate is a creative and highly motivated individual able to lead our team of professionals.
This position will be responsible for daily inventory, production and ordering of all pastry department items. Menu development, as well as managing and organizing of all private functions, catering events, and special requests will be some of the responsibilities assigned. This person will be expected to train, mentor and counsel pastry assistants, while exhibiting a proper leadership role. We will be looking for someone with a great deal of creativity, design and innovation, who will be able to handle the volume of desserts that will be demanded of an organization of this size.
A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a high volume, full service establishment is required for consideration. Culinary Arts degree preferred, but we will hire candidates with exceptional experience.
