Food runners are the link between the culinary team and the guests, ensuring that the right food is presented to the right guest as quickly as possible. Food running is a very physically demanding position and requires a fast work pace and ability to communicate quickly and effectively. Our runners present the food to each guest and must be comfortable explaining the dishes and answering questions. Runners are paid below minimum wage with daily tips distributed from their server counterparts. Shift start times range from 9:30am to 3:00pm, and are usually between 8 and 10 hours in length. Hired runners can expect between 2-4 days of training before working on their own and earning tip shares from the service team.
