A Feast In The Field

What came together as a wonderful evening, despite the cloudy skies, New England FarmWay’s Feast In The Field event was a true collaboration of local success. Held at Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth last Friday Sept. 11, the event went to benefit New England FarmWays, a special initiative of the Rhode Island Center for Agriculture Promotion and Education (RICAPE) to showcase the history, culture, ecology and beauty of the farms and vineyards of Rhode Island & Southern New England.

Our culinary team of Executive Chef Jonathan Cambra of Castle Hill, Executive Chef Michael Conetta of Waterman Grille, Pastry Chef Jonathan Marston of Castle Hill, and Chef Casey Riley, Culinary Arts Director, Newport Restaurant Group – did an excellent job of leading the culinary portion of this event and couldn’t have been happier to be celebrating so many local artisans, farms and vineyards.
