   We visited The Mooring for dinner on 7/13 to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary.I ordered the Seafood Pie and my wife ordered the Seafood Scampi. The Seafood Pie was very good although the puff pastry on top was somewhat overdone and the shrimp were overcooked and tough.
   My wife said that the Seafood Scampi had good flavor but both the shrimp and the lobster were very tough and chewy. I sampled it and had to agree that like my shrimp they were very overcooked.
   It was dissappointing because we rarely go out and spend $36 for an entree but I was hoping to make it a special dinner and unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way for her.
   I must add that we were seated promptly and the service was quick and courteous.
